Actions Taken by the Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Utility Contractors at its March 17 Meeting

Macon, Ga. (March 17, 2010) — The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Utility Contractors held its meeting on Wednesday, March 17, 2010. 

The Board reviewed and approved 40 utility foreman applications for licensure and 30 utility contractor applications for licensure.

The Board voted to accept the following cease and desist orders for unlicensed practice:
Jason Marone d/b/a Marone’s Grading and Excavating, Fort Valley
Dave Deats d/b/a Deats Excavating & Utilities, Inc., Hazelhurst
Marcus Brittain, Brown Mechanical Contractors, Inc., Birmingham, AL

The Board voted to accept the following public consent orders:
Mark Christopher Bain, Cumming
A.L. Grading, Sugar Hill

The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Utility Contractors will hold its next meeting Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
