RE/MAX of Georgia honors the Best of the Best

ATLANTA, Ga., (March 12, 2010) - Annual awards highlight RE/MAX of Georgia’s top achievers for 2009

RE/MAX of Georgia held a celebration at Villa Christina at Perimeter Summit in Atlanta on Tuesday, February 23rd to celebrate the achievements of its top 25 individuals and top 25 teams from across the state for 2009.

The top three individual agents were Maria Licata of RE/MAX Suburban Atlanta in Norcross, Russ Robinson from RE/MAX Greater Atlanta in Roswell and Kristy Petrillo of RE/MAX Town and Country Riverstone in Canton – The top 25 agents completed over 1600 transactions. 

Maria said: “I think the key to my success in this economic market was staying focused, being accessible and going the extra mile for my clients. I feel that the RE/MAX brand is of upmost importance and gives me a high degree of credibility with both the seller and buyer. Like many in Real Estate today, I feel that the market is nearing a bottom and we can all look forward to a rebound in the second half of 2010.” 

The top performing teams were led by Kent Miller of RE/MAX Advantage in Jonesboro, Mark Spain of RE/MAX Greater Atlanta in Dunwoody and Zach Pasmanick of RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Intown. Their teams completed over 1500 transactions in 2009.

The winners were also congratulated by Lisa McPherson, Regional Owner, RE/MAX Regional Services.

In addition, several Georgia agents were honored for their accomplishments by RE/MAX International at the Annual International Convention held last week in Orlando, FL. 

Mark Spain was awarded membership of the Circle of Legends, RE/MAX’s highest career level award; Robert Upchurch’s team from RE/MAX Results in LaGrange was named one second in the US and fifth Worldwide for their Commercial Real Estate Sales; Edwin Poss from RE/MAX of Rayburn, Clayton Co achieved the award for the Highest Net Gain in Associates in a Small Market both in the US and Worldwide.
