Republican Stephen Northington Names Donna Hill as Campaign Manager

ATLANTA, Ga., (January 8, 2010) - Republican Candidate for Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Stephen Northington of Cobb County named Donna D. Hill as the new Campaign Manager for The Committee to Elect Stephen Northington effective November 20, 2009.

Ms. Hill is a Past President of the Georgia Associations of Health Underwriters (GAHU) and a member of the South Atlanta Association of Health Underwriters. She has also served as Chair of GAHU-PAC, the Political Action Committee for GAHU.

Ms. Hill is a licensed insurance agent and community activist, serving in numerous leadership capacities for various civic and volunteer organizations.

"I am deeply honored to have been given the opportunity to direct this campaign," said Ms. Hill. "I have known Stephen for years, but when he asked me to meet with him last spring I don't think either of us expected the results. I left that meeting convinced that Stephen was the ideal candidate to replace Commissioner Oxendine. I have been serving as Deputy Campaign Manager for the last several months and am honored to now step up. The transition has gone very smoothly."
