Open House and BBQ at Local Flight School
American Flyers hosting free open house and barbecue lunch

Atlanta, Georgia, (August 25, 2010) - American Flyers Flight School at the DeKalb Peachtree Airport will be hosting an open house and barbeque on Saturday, September 4. This free event is designed to bring those with a curiosity about flying small airplanes to the airport for a fun-filled and informative afternoon. The event kicks off at noon with the free food and continues with tours and a presentation by a certificated flight instructor.

In addition to food, training aircraft will be on display and guests are invited to tour the classrooms, flight line and flight simulators.

Each guest that attends will be eligible to receive a certificate for two free hours of instruction in one of the flight simulators. After lunch a flight instructor will conduct a free FAA WINGS seminar, covering high-performance takeoffs and landings for any who are interested.

Lunch is served promptly at noon, so guests are encouraged to arrive 10 – 15 minutes early. There is no need to make reservations and guests are encouraged to bring friends and family. American Flyers is located on the west side of the DeKalb Peachtree Airport at 1950 Airport Road, Atlanta, Georgia, 30341.
