Atlanta Motor Sports Park adds 27 jobs in just four weeks - Only green sustainable motorsports park in the world
Construction of Atlanta Motorsports Park brings job creation to Dawsonville

ATLANTA, GA (APRIL 21, 2010) - While car and karting enthusiasts eagerly await completion of Atlanta Motorsports Park, the economic benefits are already being felt locally. The only “Green / Sustainable ” motorsports park in the world is delivering much needed economic stimulus to Dawsonville.

TW Phillips, Dawsonville based grading company, rehired 25 employees whom had been laid off. Tracy Phillips, CEO says “we are happy to be involved in this landmark project and even happier that it has meant bringing back jobs to our people in Dawsonville. This puts these people back into the local restaurants and businesses spending their paychecks on food and goods.”

The logging company - Martin Timber, also of Dawsonville, was retained to remove timber and has hired two additional workers.

In addition to job creation, the local economy is benefiting from increased traffic to Dawsonville businesses and ripple effect. A vacant property adjacent to the project site has been rented by the construction management company. All of this in just four weeks from ground breaking.

To continue the commitment to the local community and making a positive impact AMP will be giving 10% of its profits back to the local ministries, offering the facilities for no charge to teen driver training programs to lessen tragic teen car accident related deaths. AMP will also offer the road course to all law enforcement agencies to set up self-directed programs to sharpen officer tactical driving skills.

AMP is proud to announce new sponsor Digital Interiors owned by a Dawsonville resident.

In other news, AMP sponsor partners Falcon Waterfree Technologies & Sloan Valve Company will be supplying state of the art environmental fixtures. Interest from businesses and membership sales are robust.

Atlanta Motorsports Park is a motorsports country club, similar to that of a golf country club, but instead of a golf course AMP offers a driving course where owners of sports cars can drive their cars fast, legally, and in a safe road course environment.
