Historic Downtown Lawrenceville Event Facility Now Open

Lawrenceville, GA (June 30, 2009) – A 7,000 foot historic event facility, located two blocks off the Lawrenceville square had their official Grand Opening on Thursday June 18th, welcoming community leaders, friends, and guests to view the completed building on 550 North Clayton Street. 

The building has been restored to its original beauty retaining the original granite walls and wood. The facility hosts a full catering kitchen, a VIP room with a private bathroom, patio and courtyard gardens along- side the railroad tracks. 

Lawrenceville Mayor Rex Millsaps and his wife Sheila, were pleased to host the first wedding reception, at 550 Trackside, for their daughter Carla and her new husband John Zorn, who is a coach at Central Gwinnett High School. The Mayor said, “The facility is first class and our family will have a lifetime of memories.” Sheila recalled, “The evening was spectacular, the bride and groom were absolutely thrilled about their wedding reception and the 550 Trackside team was a pleasure to work with!”
