Actions Taken by the Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Low Voltage Contractors at its June 23 Meeting

Macon, Ga. (June 29, 2009) — The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Low Voltage Contractors met on Tuesday, June 23, 2009.

The Board approved 23 low voltage unrestricted applications for licensure; seven low voltage alarm applications for licensure; 17 low voltage general applications for licensure; 18 low voltage telecommunications for licensure and three applications for licensure by reciprocity. 

The Board approved the following Cease and Desist Orders for unlicensed practice:
Kevin Beebe, Augusta
Joey Casteel, Lizella 
Frank Brozeck, Woodstock
Dwayne Nowell, Dallas
Robert Brooks, Acworth
Matthew Cummings d/b/a Pye-Parker Fire & Safety, Savannah 

The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Low Voltage Contractors will hold its next meeting October 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
