Mall of Georgia’s Fabulous Fourth Featured with "Movies Under The Stars"
New Outdoor Movie Series Celebrates its Biggest Night Yet with 4th of July Festivities 

BUFORD, GA (June 22, 2009) - Mall of Georgia invites local families and friends to add a few sparks to this year’s Independence Day bash! As part of its new “Movies Under The Stars” series, Mall of Georgia will celebrate its seventh annual Fabulous Fourth event packed full of patriotic, family-friendly festivities. 

To jump-start the day, popular local bands will deliver live musical performances on stage at the Village Amphitheatre beginning at 2 p.m. Children of all ages will be entertained for hours with bouncy house inflatables, carnival games and other family activities in the Kids Zone (nominal fee may apply for some activities). Tasty concessions and cold drinks will be available for purchase throughout the day at various sponsor tents. The fun-filled day will culminate with the grandest and brightest fireworks display in Gwinnett – followed by a special showing of Independence Day on the jumbo-sized, 60-foot screen at the Village Amphitheatre. 

Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets! Sponsors include the Gwinnett Medical Center, Georgia Gwinnett College, Special Events Network, U.S. Army, Jump for Joy and Gwinnett Daily Post.

· Gwinnett's grandest fireworks display: begins at dusk 
· Independence Day (movie): post-fireworks
