Titanic Aquatic at the Georgia Aquarium Achieves New Milestone with 250,000th Visitor

ATLANTA (June 17, 2009) – Premier Exhibitions, Inc. today announced its blockbuster attraction, Titanic Aquatic at the Georgia Aquarium, has been seen by more than 250,000 visitors since opening in August 2008. The wildly successful attraction is the first limited-run Exhibition at the Georgia Aquarium, and will be available to new and returning Aquarium visitors until its extended-run scheduled closing date of September 7, 2009.

“One of the things that makes a visit to the Georgia Aquarium such an incredible experience is the wide variety of world-class attractions we’re able to offer,” said Carey Rountree, senior vice president, sales and marketing for the Georgia Aquarium. “With Titanic Aquatic at our facility, not only are we giving first-time visitors an extraordinary experience they will long remember, but we are also giving returning visitors a new engaging way to enjoy the Aquarium’s many offerings.”

This unique Exhibition brings to life the story of the ill-fated Ship through over 190 authentic artifacts and hands-on interactive experiences. The Georgia Aquarium’s Titanic Aquatic exhibition is a specially designed version of the company’s blockbuster exhibition, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, which drew an estimated 150,000 visitors during its run at the Atlanta Civic Center in 2007.

RMS Titanic, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Premier Exhibitions, Inc., and the only company permitted by law to recover objects from the wreck of the Titanic. The company was granted Salvor-in-Possession rights to the wreck of Titanic by a United States federal court in 1994 and has conducted seven research and recovery expeditions to Titanic, recovering more than 5,500 artifacts.

Premier Exhibitions, Inc. has also announced the extension of two other successful Exhibitions it is presenting in Atlanta: Dialog in the Dark and BODIES…The Exhibition, scheduled to run until January, 2010, at the Premier Exhibition Center at Atlantic Station.
