Music Festival Returns to Centennial Olympic Park for Good Times in May
ATLANTA (March 19, 2008) – Southern Comfort has announced it’s bringing the SoCo Music Experience back to Centennial Olympic Park on Saturday, May 17 with a stellar mix of national and local performers. Queens of the Stone Age will be headlining the main stage with support from Ghostland Observatory, Supersuckers, Ryan Shaw and Bang Camaro.
“We’re excited to have the SoCo Music Experience back in Atlanta for the third year and plan to see more and more groups of friends having a great time,” said Laura Petry, Southern Comfort, Brand Manager. The SoCo Music Experience is a free music festival for people 21 and older showcasing national performing acts and local favorites in an environment transforming an outdoor venue into a festival setting with food, beverage, poster, t-shirt and record shop vendors and the SoCo & Lime Dome.
Past acts at the SoCo Music Experience in Atlanta have included Flaming Lips, The Roots, Son Volt, De La Soul, Sick Puppies, Cypress Hill, Mickey Avalon, Rose Hill Drive, Galactic, among others.
Besides returning to Atlanta, the SoCo Music Experience will again stop in San Diego, Madison and Tempe, while Denver and New York festivals have been added to the calendar.
