Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Dispensing Opticians at its March 12 Meeting

Macon, Ga. (March 14, 2008) — The Georgia Board of Dispensing Opticians held its bi-monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 12, 2008.

   The Board voted to accept the following Cease and Desist Orders for unlicensed practice:

      Lanicha Provost, National Vision, Hiram 
      Bok Lee, Bok Hair & Accessories, Kingsland 

   The Board voted to license the following individuals by examination:

      Lola Jean Padley, Clarkesville 
      David Glen Redumski, Flint, MI 
      Syeda Shama Pasha, Atlanta 
      Michelle Bianca Stevens, Pembroke 
      Crystal Y. Wade, Atlanta 
      Emike R. Iteghie, Suwanee 
      Monica L. Notae, Riverdale 

   The Georgia Board of Dispensing Opticians will hold its next meeting Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division in Macon, Georgia.
