Actions Taken by the Georgia Auctioneers Commission at its August 25 Meeting

Macon, Ga. (August 28, 2008) — The Georgia Auctioneers Commission held its bi-monthly meeting on Monday, August 25, 2008.

   The Board voted to accept the following consent order for licensure:

V. Wayne Wheat, Fulshear, TX. Fined $500 and issued a probationary license for 12 months. The Commission was notified of disciplinary action from the Auctioneer Commission in the State of Louisiana against the licensee for aiding and abetting in unlicensed practice. 

   The Georgia Auctioneers Commission will hold its next meeting on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Board in Macon.
