Water Resources welcomes public to water plant

Lawrenceville, Ga., (April 22, 2008) – In celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources will hold an open house for the public at the Shoal Creek Water Production Facility on Saturday, May 3, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

   There will be facility tours, hayrides, arts and crafts, complimentary lunch and refreshments. Admission to the event is free. The facility is located at 1755 Buford Dam Road in Buford.
