GGC Launches New Website

Lawrenceville, GA (March 15, 2007) — Georgia Gwinnett College launched a new website design today with a 1000% increase in content from the previous site: www.ggc.usg.edu . Officials say the new site is critical for the college to recruit new students and new employees for the fall 2007 semester.

   “The new website design tested well among high school seniors in Gwinnett County. They loved the graphics and easy-to-use navigation and their opinions are very important to us,” says Jennifer Stephens, GGC’s Director of Public Affairs. “We wanted the site to appeal to a young audience and illustrate ‘The Campus of Tomorrow.’”

   The website launched as a part of a comprehensive enrollment campaign which includes area advertising, open house events and a kiosk in the Mall of Georgia.

   Georgia Gwinnett College is now accepting freshman and transfer student applications for the fall 2007 semester. Applications are only accepted online at www.ggc.usg.ed u. Students can apply, check their application status and be accepted into the college entirely online.
