Lt. Governor Casey Cagle Launches New Website

Atlanta, GA (August 6, 2007) – Today, Lt. Governor Casey Cagle announced the launch of his new official website, which is located at: www.ltgov.ga.gov

   “In today’s world, the internet has become the number one way to retrieve news and information. Our new website will provide Georgians with frequently updated information about the Lt. Governor’s office, the legislature and the state of Georgia. We hope citizens will be able to utilize our site as a primary resource for information about state government” said Lt. Governor Casey Cagle.

   In addition to updated information regarding the legislature and current and pending pieces of legislation, the new website will introduce several useful and interactive features, including:

  · An updated and detailed Constituent Service Assistance Request form that will allow citizens to contact the Lt. Governor about issues that are important to them

  · Information about issues in Georgia that the Lt. Governor feels are critical to address

  · Easy access to information about the General Assembly and state government, including answers to frequently asked questions and contact information for state and federal elected officials

  · A new interactive photo gallery which will allow people to download and print pictures of the Lt. Governor’s activities throughout Georgia
