Atlantic Station November 4th
Atlanta, GA (October 27, 2006) - Following in the tradition of successful public markets of Europe and northeastern US, the Atlantic Station Market
(
www.AtlanticStationMarket.com
) is the first of many Open Air markets being introduced to the Atlanta metro area to showcase local artisans and unique vendors as well as encourage a true LIVE/WORK/PLAY environment.
Opening day of the Atlantic Station Market is November 4, 2006. The market will be open every Saturday and Sunday through November and December 2006 in “The District” at Atlantic Station.
The Atlantic Station Market will operate along 17 ˝ St. between Atlantic Drive and Market St., in the same location that held the popular “Taste of Atlanta” celebration on Oct. 14, 2006. White tents will be set up for each vendor and will be easily identified from 17th St.
The market will host up to 56 vendors in its opening weekend and will include local artists, potters, crafts, garden furniture, antiques and more. The market has the capability to expand up to 100 vendors each day and promises to attract hundreds of local and visiting patrons.
