Drunk Driver Swerves into Other Lane and Causes Accident
Roswell, Ga. – An Atlanta resident, 24 yrs old Lusak Sulima, is cited for driving drunk after his vehicle swerved into the other lane and struck another vehicle on April 16, 2006, the police report states.
Prior to the accident, Sulima was traveling northbound on Old Alabama Rd. As Sulima drove passed the intersection with Barrington Drive West, he swerved his vehicle into the southbound lanes.
At this point, Sulima’s vehicle struck the driver side of Gary Randall’s vehicle, according to the police report. The collision caused extensive damages to the driver side of both vehicles. After the accident, Sulima was cited for DUI after his blood results indicated that his alcohol blood level was higher than the maximum limit, according to the police report. Sulima was also cited for driving on the wrong side of the road.
Coming Home to Damage PropertyForest Park
Forest Park, Ga. - Forest Park resident Phaeng Louangsiyotha returned home from work to discover that there is about $150 worth of damages to her property according to the police report.
Louangsiyotha told officers that she went to work about 8a.m. and returned home about 7p.m. Louangsiyotha further said that she noticed that someone had driven over her hedges, hit two trees, and dug up some of her lawn. The alleged driver and vehicle left the scene prior to Louangsiyotha’s arrival.
Moreover, Louangsiyotha said she saw some gray paint and broken glass by one of the trees. The police officer checked the area for a gray vehicle with damage to it. However, the officer was unable to locate such vehicle.
Witness demanded police presence after car crash
Morrow, Ga. (March 10) – A witness, Jabarrie Jones, to an accident recommended that Yoshmin English should inform the police about a car accident that English was involved in, according to the police report
Jones alleged that a drunken thin black male in his 30’s struck English’s vehicle. Jones said he could smell the alcohol coming from the driver when they spoke with each other. Furthermore, the driver told English to not worry about calling the police due to English’s vehicle sustaining only minor rear bumper damages.
However, the police report stated that Jones suggested for English to inform the police. At this point, the driver got back into his green Ford Expedition and drove away from the scene. Jones said that the driver continued south on I-75. Moreover, the vehicle is registered to Tamika Leshae.
