Broker support adds to new associate brokers

ATLANTA, GA (July 21, 2006) - Will McGowan is the newest member of the broker support team at Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate. He has more than five years experience in the real estate industry. Previously, he was an associate broker with Georgia Land Finders.

   McGowan’s real estate career began as a new homes specialist for Centex Homes. He has experience in commercial construction and land development with Winmark Homes and Georgia Land Finders, respectively. He studied marketing education at Jacksonville University and received his Brokers License in 2003. He is also a member of the NAMAR commercial counsel. He lives in Suwanee. 

   Dexter Dix is now a full-time member of the broker support team. He has worked out of Metro Brokers’ Stone Mountain office since 1995 and has been a part-time member of broker support for more than four years. He has more than 14 years of experience in the real estate industry. 

   Dix has a B.S. in Accounting from Branau College. He lives in Stone Mountain. 

   Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate was the first broker in the metro Atlanta area to create a broker support team. The company used to have one broker, founder John Hartrampf, to answer broker questions. Now, the team has grown exponentially from one member to 12 members. 

   Hartrampf liked the idea of having office managers in the individual offices so they don’t compete with agents for business and they can take care of the daily administrative needs of the office and sales associates. Brokers are most effective when all of their time is dedicated to helping answer agents’ questions and helping them increase their business.
