Off the Grill opens in Duluth just in time for the holidays
The second location in the Atlanta area; this fast-casual restaurant is gearing up for Holiday office parties, catering and delivering high-quality food during this busy time of year
DULUTH, Ga. – Dec. 6, 2005 – Off The Grill, a national fast-casual restaurant, opened yesterday at 3780 Old Norcross Road. The Duluth restaurant is the second location in the Atlanta market and the thirteenth for the franchise. The Roswell Off The Grill opened on August 1 and is located at 1010 Mansell Rd.
“We are excited to open our second restaurant in the Atlanta market,” said Mike Hadlow, managing director for OTG Atlanta LLC. “We see great potential for the concept and are on track to open more locations statewide in the coming years.”
The Off The Grill concept combines two of the fastest growing segments in the restaurant industry – fast casual and delivery. Fast-casual is growing at twice the restaurant industry growth rate and delivery is increasing at three times the pace of dine-in.
Off The Grill provides high quality food, similar to a full-service restaurant, in a clean, sophisticated atmosphere. Specializing in delivery and take out of steakhouse quality meals to homes and businesses, approximately 60 percent of the chain’s national sales are from delivery or take out.
The menu’s entrees include steakhouse quality steaks, burgers, chicken and salmon, all basted with a secret sauce that gives the food a distinct flavor. Specialty salads, sandwiches, side dishes and desserts are also available in addition to low-carb options and a children’s menu.
Off The Grill also offers catering and features special menus for pharmaceutical representatives and companies serving 10 or more individuals.
“The timing couldn’t be better,” said John Page, manager of the Duluth Off The Grill, “We are looking forward to helping out busy professionals in the area with their holiday office parties and catering needs, or to simply provide them with a high-quality, healthy alternative to traditional delivery options.
Hadlow founded OTG Atlanta, along with partner Tim Monks, in March of this year. They selected Off The Grill after reviewing numerous business opportunities including several other fast casual restaurant concepts.
In addition to liking the Off The Grill concept, they were impressed with the quality of existing franchisees and potential franchisees being attracted to the system, as well as the high caliber and integrity of the corporate management team.
The duo plans to open up to 20 additional restaurants throughout Georgia over the next five years.
