Technology Association of Georgia Announces New President
ATLANTA, Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) announced today the appointment of Tino Mantella as President of the organization. Mr. Mantella was chosen after an extensive search conducted by a committee that included TAG Executive Committee members Dawn Patrick, Deloitte; Allen Moseley, Noro-Moseley Partners; Martin Tilson, Kilpatrick Stockton, LLP; and Kent Antley, Miller & Martin. The search committee also included Sarah Bajc, Questcon Technologies, Inc. and President-Elect of the Women In Technology (WIT) Society of TAG; Adam Waxman, LogNet Information Technologies, Inc. and President of TAG's Southeastern Software Association (SSA) Society; and Jim Boone, Windship Partners, who served as search executive.
Mr. Mantella comes to TAG with over 20 years of experience leading prominent volunteer-driven organizations such as the National Arthritis Foundation and YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago. As President and CEO of those multifaceted and complex charities, he spearheaded agendas that led to the development of innovative new services that facilitated significant membership growth. In addition, Mantella's track record reflects impressive results in fund raising, advocacy, and economic development. Prior to joining TAG, he held dual roles as Co-founder and President of Motivational Messaging LLC, a strategic marketing company designed to help non-profits leverage technology to drive customer response, and as President of TJM Consulting.
