The American Autoimmune Related Disease Association Announces Car Donation Program
Donating a used car gives tax payer a break, while supporting the AARDA.

Eastpointe, MI March 24, 2004 - - The American Autoimmune Related Disease Association (AARDA) can now accept used car donations through its partner cars4charities to help raise much needed funds. The American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association is dedicated to the eradication of autoimmune diseases and the alleviation of suffering and the socioeconomic impact of autoimmunity through fostering and facilitating collaboration in the areas of education, research, and patient services in an effective, ethical and efficient manner.

By donating used cars, trucks, vans or SUVs, donors become eligible for a federal tax deduction. cars4charities sells the donated vehicles and sends the entire net proceeds to the AARDA to help fund their programs.

The Vehicle Donation Program has been a great success for many charities. “We are very excited to be part of this effort and hope to see a similar level of enthusiasm,” says Virginia Ladd, President of the AARDA. “cars4charities experience with the vehicle donation program is a great advantage. Their procedures make donating very easy.”

To participate, donors simply call cars4charities at 1-866-448-3487 or log onto their website www.cars4charities.org , and they will have the vehicles towed away, free of charge. Donors will receive all the necessary paperwork to claim their tax deduction for the fair market value of the vehicle.

Most classics and 1993 and newer cars, trucks, vans and SUVs are accepted. Some restrictions apply. For more information, visit www.cars4charities.org  or call 1-866-448-3487 (GIVE-4-US)
