Mayor Shirley Franklin awards top honors to author and living foods institute founder Brenda Cobb
Atlanta, GA (Nov. 26) - Atlanta’s Mayor Shirley Franklin gave The Phoenix Award to Dr. Brenda Cobb, founder of the Living Foods Institute and author of “The Living Foods Lifestyle” book. Dr. Cobb has been featured on NBC, ABC, FOX, and CNN educating the public about natural healing with raw and living foods and has trained over 2,000 students. The Phoenix Award is the City of Atlanta’s highest honor given to those who have made a significant contribution to the city of Atlanta and its citizens. Ms. Donna Dobbs, Administrative Analyst for the Mayor and Executive Assistant to Chief of Staff, Greg Pridggeon, presented the award at the November Graduation Ceremony.
The award states: “The City of Atlanta recognizes the importance of incorporating enzyme-rich organic living food into the diets of its citizens, and also, the healing it brings to the body, mind and spirit and takes pride in your efforts to raise awareness in our community.”
Dr. Cobb thanked Mayor Shirley Franklin and the City of Atlanta for the honor and for helping her build understanding about the “benefits of living foods and the role they play in rebuilding one’s health.” She was deeply appreciative of the recognition acknowledging her work and vowed to continue her mission… “To Heal the World, One Person at a Time.”
