2004 Music Midtown dates announced
Atlanta's 11th Annual Music
Midtown set for April 30, May 1 & 2
ATLANTA, GEORGIA - Festival organizers for MUSIC MIDTOWN, America's
largest 3-day music festival that annually draws 300,000 revelers to
Atlanta, Georgia for a weekend of music, food and fun, have announced
that the 11th annual MUSIC MIDTOWN will take place on April 30, May 1
and May 2, 2004. Tickets will go on sale March 2004 with 3-day passes
to the festival for only $45. Single day passes will also be made
available. The Festival grounds will once again be situated in the
heart of Midtown Atlanta and will encompass 40 plus acres and multiple
stages.
Each year the festival features the biggest names in music and
certainly one of the most diverse lineups of any music festival in the
world. MUSIC MIDTOWN is what many have called the perfect storm of
music fests as festival goers from around the world descend upon the
heart of the South to experience performances by over 120 major and
emerging acts on multiple outdoor stages for an amazingly low admission
price.
MUSIC MIDTOWN is produced by Alex Cooley and Peter Conlon, founders of
renowned concert promotion firm, Concert Southern, which is now a part
of the Clear Channel Entertainment family. In 1993, Cooley and Conlon
joined forces with the idea of presenting a festival that would
encompass all aspects of music in an urban setting with an affordable
ticket price. This vision came to life in 1994 with the first Music
Midtown, and since that time, Cooley/Conlon have created one of the
most successful annual music festivals in America that features
performers at all levels of their career, from emerging bands to
today's hottest acts to legendary performers covering a wide range of
genres including Rock, Pop, R&B, Hip Hop and World Music.
